Holistic
PERFORMANCE Training
Athletic Performance is the combination of speed, reaction, power, strength, and flexibility. Every HMP Class targets each of these traits. Our warm-up improves flexibility. Our speed training builds quickness and technique. Our strength and power training increases explosiveness. We believe a holistic approach is the best approach.
Developmentally
TARGETED Training
Elementary, Middle, and High School athletes are all at different stages emotionally, mentally, and physically. The wrong approach at the wrong time causes burnout. HMP Classes meet youth athletes where they’re at and guide them through their development.

BUILDING Blocks
Weight room exercises and athletic movements are supported foundationally by a few basic movement patterns. Being able to fold and bend at the hips, stabilize the core, and keep the body aligned are integral to healthy movement. HMP Classes not only emphasize these patterns, but safely build strength in them that translates to long-term health and performance.

GROWTH Mindset
Youth Athletes are beginning to lay the framework for who they will grow up to be. We don’t take this lightly. HMP Classes encourage growth mindsets through celebrating success and learning from mistakes. We believe our impact extends far beyond the field, and we want all of our athletes to live fulfilling lives through their work, family, and relationships.

We would highly recommend working with him!
Our son takes weekly strength and agility classes with Coach Kevin Klett. Kevin customizes each workout toward our son’s goals and abilities, and creates a positive environment for him to thrive.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who is a Good Fit for HMP Youth Classes?
HMP Youth Classes are a really good fit for 2 particular types of athletes.
1.) Athletes who are starting out their training journey. Our classes are designed for these athletes to learn and develop the foundational building blocks that support more advanced training.
2.) Athletes who aren’t yet sure if they want to pursue their sport at a collegiate or professional level. Our classes are designed to encourage exploration and maintain passion for sports. Not everyone wants to pursue playing at the next level and we’re here to help these athletes get the most out of what they want.
How Many Athletes are in a Session?
HMP Youth Classes have a maximum ratio of 5 athletes per coach. This means if there are more than 5 athletes in a session, we’ll have 2 coaches. This ratio allows each athlete to receive individualized coaching to ensure they not only get the most benefit from each exercise, but do so safely.
